The work in progress
An illustrative engineering experiment in collecting useful system signals with a small resource footprint. The team is comparing diagnostic approaches before choosing an implementation.
What we’re working towards
- Define a useful minimum set of signals
- Benchmark resource usage
- Publish lessons from failure experiments
Where another perspective helps
The next step is to test the assumptions behind the approach. A collaborator can bring feedback, a reproducible experiment or experience from a different engineering discipline.
- Linux
- Performance review
Collaboration terms
Illustrative volunteer open-source collaboration under the MIT license. No compensation or equity is offered in this example. Publishing a project on Runtime does not transfer its ownership to Runtime Collective.
